This goes under the heading of old news, but if you don't view Chicago Athlete's site regularly, you might have missed it. A new 26.2-miler, The Wisconsin Marathon, will debut in Kenosha, Wis., on May 2, 2009. It will be based in downtown Kenosha, just three blocks from the Metra station. This one has a lot of potential and is close to home for most of us. I first heard this was in the works back in April, and am so glad it is coming to fruition. Folks, we've got a spring marathon.
