Green Bay Was a 26.35

Organizers of the Cellcom Green bay Marathon acknowledged on Monday that the course was mismarked, resulting in about 800 extra feet. It happened early in the course, and according to reports, people running with GPS devices noticed the problem right away. People who just missed qualifying for Boston will be accommodated with adjusted times according to television reports in Green Bay. This race is extremely well-organized and thoughtful toward runners. Yes, this is a major surprise, but don't expect it to happen again. You might remember that 27.2 Lakefront Marathon in Chicago a few years back. Don't even try to compare the two. Green Bay is a class event.
