Beat Rock & Roll Half's Fee Increase
If you're planning to run the Rock & Roll Chicago Half Marathon on Aug. 1, entry fees jump from $85 to $110 on Thursday, April 1. With parking not being free, running big city races such as this one is not cheap. With that in mind, don't be a fool on Thursday. This is your head's up to save 25 bucks. You could take those 25 bucks and enter another race!

$110.00 for a half? $85 is way too much. To run 13miles? I don't get it. I know it's Chicago and all, but come on. I just paid $65 to run the Milwaukee Marathon and that's twice the running and suffering. I would be interested to see what the promoters are pocketing for this. 25k runners times $85 to $110 is alot of coin. I am aware of the expenses that running a race in Chicago can be, but I see someone or a few people making a killing on this.
