To no one's surprise, the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon on Oct. 5 is now filled to its 2,750 capacity for individuals and its limit of 90 for relay teams. If you got in, I'll see you there. Let the training begin!
Remember one of your running competitors when you were living up in Milwaukee and running the Menomonee River Parkway? Just received this from Pete Corfeld, the head men's & wms coach for xc and t&f at UWM.

Robert Ellis Assistant Dean Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business Thought you'd enjoy seeing his mileage.
Bill! Great hearing from you. Your timing is perfect. During the relay, I had a 6.35-mile leg from Dousman to Wales and a 4-mile stretch in Racine County. I had kringle on my mind on that one and thought about our Lighthouse Run days. I also thought, "Maybe Bill Meyer could get into this . . . " Bob Ellis retiring? I'll believe it when I see it. Hope you and Kathy are well. Say hi to her. Also say hi to Pete.
